Where exactly is Carlsbad? The City of Carlsbad is a unique coastal community located 35 miles north of the City of San Diego surrounded by mountains, lagoons and the Pacific Ocean. "LEGOLAND" is just a few miles from our beach cottage. Everything San Diego has to offer, including the San Diego Zoo, the Wild Animal Park, Seaworld, and Petco Park, is just a short freeway drive away.

Carlsbad is an upscale town with a quaint "Village" area loaded with shops and restaurants, all within walking distance of the beach cottage. Carlsbad offers a more 'mature' environment that the older San Diego beach towns (Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, etc).  If you a lovely beach house 1/2 block from the sand and just a few blocks to tons of restaurants and shops, then Suder's Beach Cottage is the way to go!
